If we (Tax Payers) were not giving thousands of Toyota trucks to the Iraqi Army,

would Toyota's sales be down? I see a non stop flow of New Toyota trucks from the Numi Factory in Fremont CA to the Car docks in Benicia. The Car ships take then to Basra for the Iraqi Army.

I drive past the car docks frequently and was first surprised to see ships full of vehicles leaving.(usually it is ships unloading and leaving empty) ... When I checked into it I learned the Toyota trucks meet the Federal Buy America guidelines. So they can be given to the New Iraqi Army.

All US military contracts, USAID, State Department contracts specify that we must contract with US businesses. You'll find all US vehicles are Ford or the like.

However, I cannot make claims about what another soveriegn government imports.

It's also interesting to note that Toyota is the most American made car--so those are all American jobs.
