if ur proud of culure shouldnt u even if nri, show culural clothing at social events?

i dont understand why nri men dont want to wear the traditional outfits. they jus would like to wear the pant and suit.. even to social events.

i was born in usa, but it kind of annoys me that the women get all dressed up and the men dont.
