If upgrade to a verizon phone i got from a friend will my bill go up?

I now have a LG ENV3 and i hate it, i pay $10 Required data package for it. But my friend has a Black Berry World he will give me, but Verizon has a $30 requirement for those type of phones.. Will my bill go up?
