If this were a virtual reality, is there any of our history you'd suspect of being...

...a virtual fiction? The question means that if this were to be a virtual reality, that would mean the documentation and other evidence we have here from which our assumptions of our history are based - may be entirely fictitious.

If there is any of our supposed history you would suspect of being false, a creation of the fictions set up for us in some "virtual construct", what bits of history would that be? Or would you just assume the whole thing is probably false?
One thing I'm sure of is that even if all the history we have record of here happened to be true - i.e., it's what happened in the "real world" - there would still have to be a large chunk of our history missing in this place. For the era in which this reality is set, the events would be our future, but in the "real world", they would already have to have happened. That "missing era" would be the period of time between this historical era and the era in which people started living in virtual realities.

So even if all our history here is real, the history that's happened since would be far more meaningful to us if we only knew it.

Then again, maybe this all -is- real. Tcyah... ;-)
