if they talk to me i know they wouldnt hate me....what do i do?

ever since middle school started there was this girl who went to my elementary school who just started to randomly hate me. wen i asked her y she did, all she said was i hate u cuz ur weird and ur ideas of mean are just plain stupid. in elementary school we didnt have any problems or rivalries or anything. i actually think she was a lil jealous cuz at the last semester of elementary, me n her guy frend became rly close. i liked him, i think she did too n so did all the other girls in school. i think he liked me back cuz iv never EVER seen him treat n e body else like the way he treats me. they rnt frends n e more, but we still r so she still hates me. n since shes at the top of the popularity rate, she went around spreading rumors about me that evryone believed which didnt give me such a great head start. iv became good frends with ppl who were frends with her and even ppl a lil higher up in the list n at my bible study, im always making new frends n not to sound shallow but i think if her frends actually spoke to the real me, i think they would like me, cuz even tho theyre frends with her they can b waaaay nicer. plus i have this new crush, hes frends with her n all the girls have a crush on him. hes rly into sports. before middle school started, i met him at my church. hes a nice guy, he doesnt hate me, ehich is good, but i think if i make a good impression with his frends, we mite become closer. so i dont wanna become popular, i wanna stay real, so how do i become close to these ppl to the degree where they wont believe the girl who hates me about wat she says about me but at the same time in a way where i can still ahng out with my other frends n become closer to my crush to the point where i can actually hug him??? o n im not saying i wanna b close to her, i blew that chance, i wanna b closer to her frends, plz help????? sorry, i know its long
