...you do it? My Mother in law has been separated from her husband for 5 months now. She has not filed any paper work in court or anything. Just up and left him 5 months ago. She can't afford lawyer fees, but I know you are not legally required to have a divorce lawyer in VA. They don't have any kids together and have no disputes over property. She does not want spousal support. She only wants a clean break from him! How would she go about doing this? I know she has to go to the circuit court and file for some type of separation, but what exactly would she have to do? The more specific you are the better! Thanks!!!
