I'm trying to find a job and I job hunted a year ago and had no luck in a big city (now I'm in a much smaller area). I'm a full time student, changed my major a few times, and haven't worked in about 5 years. Some of that time unemployed is because of college work load, others is because I couldn't find a job or work study.
The few jobs I did work, 4 jobs total, and each employment lasting almost a year are now mostly closed or the original managers are gone. One I believe is more than likely saying bad things because the manager who came in when I left tried to say we all got fired.
My question is should I even bother putting these down on a resume as I know places are more than likely having a hard time contact them, or getting nothing from talking to the current managers? I have no degree, I'm just taking a small hiatus from school due to real life issues. I really wasn't in any recent collegial clubs, or any spiffy enough to brag about. Minimally volunteered.
I really need a job now, help me please with what I should put on a resume.
