If the USA invented a Death Star to go along with Spacestation Missle

Defense would they use it? I live in the usa an i know that usa is the only country to use a nuke to blow up a city

would the usa be the first ones to develop a space station that caan vaporize entire countries in one high concentrated energy missle from space while at the same time completely counter all other countries offense with the defense system?

Wouldn't the usa be unstoppable then and scary to other nations?

I am assuming this question is in the politics section based upon the anticipated costs with these programs.

NO NUKES!

Spray paint it on every standing structure available in your city or town--the cost of a graffiti ticket is extremely minimal if not completely negligible as compared to nukes.

If Reagan could handle it, so should these new representatives. A nuke is a nuke is a nuke.

Never going to happen, because this "Death Star" could only be built by cheap Chinese or mexican labor, thus rendering it ineffective when it would be actually needed to be used. It would probably blow up the moon by accident.
 
Sir, you've been watching far too much Scifi lately.
There are plenty of important and exciting things going on in the real world...we don't need Hollywood or Steven Spielburg to cook up some looney fantacy scenario to feed the voters!
As it is, Russia is litteraly up in arms over the fact the we, the USA, have an operational anti-ICBM system (the real Star Wars, thanks Ronnie Reagan!) that works, and works really good too!
So does Israel, as the Iranians might just find out all too soon.
