If the USA had a revolution would the civilians win or would the military/police win?

It comes down to the willingness of the boots on the ground to follow orders that place them in direct and open conflict with the citizenry.

The military/law enforcement establishments in the United States are capable of putting down a full scale revolution or at the very least containing and mitigating one.

The civilians of course. I know I would fight to the death to survive. The people should always win to defend their lives. The only reason the military/police would be against the people is because of the government. I don't know of any solider or police officer who would harm their own people. That is exactly why they became what they are. So, the people will always win.
