Why do they, when they leave the service or come home expect these same US citizens that they have contempt for, to respect their wish to be acknowledged for their service (even though they volunteered) and to drop everything and help out when these same Military vets start their baby-cakes crying wanting civilians to drop everything and and grant their every wish as if they are incapable newborns crying for mommy.

Don't they have any respect for the uniform other than to hold signs like "help a homeless and hungry vet" or "homeless vet needs job".

I feel like saying to them "you hate my guts and have contempt for me and now you are crying at my feet - grow up and try to have some respect for yourself"
