...avoided 911 and the current wars? The US previously supported Bin Laden in the conflict against Russian troops, but later stopped after Russia left. The US supported and aided Iraq in it's conflict with Iran, (Saddam previously being an ally), and then withheld that aid later... so if the US continued to give aid, would this have seen an end or prevention of what later occurred?
