they dont but they influenced American opinion in Vietnam and Iraq.For all intents and purpose we won the military conflict in Vietnam and Iraq but most people dont see us as winning .The press does not report reality on the ground
Thank you for your sevice but it is widley known that the North Vietnamese were aware of the negative feelings at home, about the drawn out length and number of casulties and if they could just hold on we may quit .and we did .We had every military advantage over them but policy was influenced by the press ,resulting in a politically correct war
