If the military is initiating action to separate during entry level status,?

is it possible to fight the separation? Has anyone ever stopped an entry level separation somehow and resumed their military duties?
For failure to report to active duty when ordered.
 
I deal with this all of the time here at a Army base for basic training. Very few people have been able to stop a EPTS but I do know of one. It all depends on the circumstances
