Christia, thanks. Yes this is one of the best argument against the assumption that the Bible was changed. If it is God's word why God could not protect it. The Old and New Testaments are still the same and we adore them. The Quran has many changes in it. The Muslims say that the later verses nulls the verses that were before them. Example, The prophet spoke good words about the owners of the Book (Christians and Jews). Then he changed his mind and gave instructions to kill them and not to take them as friends.

What do you mean that the Bible was once God's word ?? The Bible -- is still and will always be God's word.... Islam came 600 years after Christianity. Blessings

I think it means God's message can never be changed.

Quran 2:106 :
??????????????????????????????????????
"Whatever a verse (revelation) do We(Allah) abrogate or cause to be forgotten, We bring a better one or similar to it".

And if you still think the Bible is completely the Word of God, then why does it have 2 different genealogies of Jesus? Both of them can't be right so at least on of them has to be an error. How could the Bible be completely be the word of God if it has errors?

The Quran never says that the Bible was or is God's word.

But the Injeel (Gospel of Jesus)

Not the NT combined with gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John plus numerous books written by some wayfarers.
