If the going got tough, what would you do?

In today's economy, things aren't exactly what we would call certain. Say the economy took a nose dive and hit rock bottom, what would you do to survive? Head for the hills? Bunker down and wait it out? What measures would you take to ensure your and your family's survival? Please be in depth.
