if the gas giants are made up of gas, whats stopping them from floating away?

this probably seems like a stupid question, but if jupiter and saturn are made of gas is there some sort of force that keeps the gas in a ball? why wouldnt the gas just float away? its been bugging me for a while now
ok, but whats to stop the gas from floating away, not just the planet
