...call CPS? big piles of dirty clothes
2 adult german shepherds that arent housebroke inside there house 90% of the time.
1 path to get threw the house, you get out of that path & you don't know what your stepping in/on.
Dishes on the counter, on the table, on the floor, not washed. They use all of them then get paper plates until she feels like washing them.

She has a 1 year old and 4 year old.

My friend called me yesterday and asked if me & my other friend would come over and help her clean cause shes getting tired of it being dirty...We were there & worked 4 1/2 hours yesterday and you honestly can't tell a difference...If you really look at it i guess you can a little but cleaning for 4 1/2 hours you would be able 2 tell a difference in most peoples houses...She wants us to come back at 11 and stay until 4 but my other friend (she was best friends with the other girl but after seeing her house she started not liking her as much cause it was gross) says we should just call CPS because even if we get it clean its not going to stay that way for long...If she wasn't trying to clean it i probably would but shes atleast wanting to clean it...Would you still call CPS on someone if their house was like that but they were trying to clean it up?
She was extremly spoiled as a kid and never really did laundry or dishes until she moved out and got her own house and she still doesn't do them now. I was friends with her since 5th grade and her room was gross to but her mom always cleaned it for her until she moved out.
cornflake- its not that i dont want to help her, but if we do clean it up & it gets filthy again are we suppose to keep going back and cleaning it for her? I have my son to take care and clean up after + working + trying to graduate highschool and now i have to clean up after someone else?

Call CPS. I dont live with my real mom, but thats how her house was. and everytime people would go over there to help her clean it, she would just let it get filthy after a couple of months.

I get that shes trying to clean it up... but cleaning a house isnt exactly rocket science. also, houses like that have a much higher risk for developing pest problems like bedbugs, cockroaches, fruit flies, etc.... its just not a suitable environment for small children.

I wouldn't seeing as she is really trying to get it clean, but S.O.B. How dirty is it that it takes 2 full days to clean it? If she keeps it up, I still wouldn't call. If her kids started getting sick from the conditions, then I would tell her that someone is going to call in on her.
