If Ron Paul is elected president in 2012, will America go back to the good old days before the progressive era and have a very limited government and get rid of income tax and stupid laws and government programs?
When I said Progressive Era, I meant the one from the 1890s to the 1920s, but I guess you could say the Progressive Era continued into the 1930s. Franklin Delano Roosevelt passed a lot of socialist laws. I didn't say the Gilded Age was good. It wasn't. The myth of Evolution became popular then and the factories did take advantage of people. Life was better before the Industrial Revolution.
