...through sex? If the attacker is so angry and controlling, there are other methods such as tying up your victim and forcing them to do other things, beating them, humiliating them, etc. But, why sex?
Sex is an intimate thing between a man and a woman. A rapist taking control of that, and doing it forcibly feels he has power over this intimate thing and in turn, makes the victim feel helpless.
