pizza fried? My sister and my brother are having a debate on whether or not pan pizza is fried my sister says yes, but my brother says no so anyone know who's right?

Pan Pizza is fried when you use oil to prevent it from sticking. If you use corn meal (much more healthy) it is not fried. I worked at a Pizza place and I couldn't believe the amount of oil they used to dump into the bottom of those pans. I'll bet it was 1/3 cup or more in the big pans. That in MY EYES made it fried! I can't even stand pan pizza any more after seeing that. I make my own now and use corn meal to prevent it from sticking. It's alot healthier and alot less calories.

Technically yes, but that's because there are many different kinds of pizzas out there.

Traditional pizzas are baked in an oven. Some places bake their pies in a brick oven, which looks a lot like a fireplace. There is such a thing as fried pizza, but it is different from a traditional pizza pie.
