if both parents have joint custody and the children live with parent a, now parent b lives in another state; what would happen if parent a went to jail? would parent b get the children?
The parent who has the children should then file for full custody of the children if the other parent is in jail..depends on the crime and sentencing..to if the joint custody would be change in court..
