Let x = shortest side. then other side is 3x + 3 and the diagonal is 3x + 4

Use pythagoras: 9x^2 + 24x + 16 = x^2 + 9x^2 + 18x +9
==> x^2 - 6x - 7 = 0
==> (x+1)(x-7)= 0
so x = -1 ( not a workable number)
0r x = 7
