If Obama loses the election, does Illinois have to accept him back as Senator or

can we pick someone else? Same with McCain, do our states have to take back either Senator if they lose the election or do we have a choice?

How about swapping out Senators? If McCain loses, he becomes the Illinois Senator and if Obama loses, he becomes the Arizona Senator? Would we notice a difference?
 
who would want 0bama? he has lied about his ties and for some odd reason he seems to share a lot of basic fundamentally STRANGE characteristics with far left wing nuts. He doesn't think country first and makes a comment "he has his phone"? Nice to know that a wanna be leader of the free world carries a phone where the last time he made a statement from during his "vacation" he made the gaffe statement of thinking the U.N. could crack down on Russia. He did not realize Russia has Veto power in the U.N. Security Council which is something they teach kids in grade school.

No they fullfill their terms, until whenever their next election is, when they may or may not be reelected, unless they step down.

And yes, I think you would see some difference with Obama or McCain swapping Senate seats, but most of their impact at the US Senate level is national, not state. Creative question though.

Hey, here's an idea. Write him a letter and tell him no matter how the election turns out you don't want him to come back to Illinois.

Then come back here and let us know how it went, okay? ;)
