Everyone is saying not to get an Australian Cattle Dog because it will be miserable in an apartment, so I'd like advice on a type of dog to get. I need a dog with both high prey drive and high defensive drive, as I'll be training it in schutzhund. I can not have an APBT, Rott, Dobie, GSD, or any mix thereof in my apartment building.
I don't want a mixed breed because I need to be sure of drive. Thanks.
