If my stitches from oral surgery fall out and my wound is open. what do i do?

i had my wisdom teeth on the bottom both pulled about 5 hours ago and the stitches from the right side have fallen out leaving the wound wide open... it isnt bleeding and there isnt much pain unless i move my mouth around. and the pain is actually worse on the left side... 1. can it be infected. 2. is it nessisary to have it closed up. 3. can i still eat
