infected as well? Right now my PC is infected and i saved all my MP3's, documents, videos, user name and password details on a data DVD.

Will the saved data that was copied from a infected PC still be infected with virus if i load the disc into a new PC?
For example: On my new PC i install anti-virus and spyware programs such as nortan and then i load the disc with the data and scan the disc and if scan comes up "all clear" will their be any chance of virus?

The reason why i asked that question is because the data disc is saved from a infected PC which containing MP3's, documents, etc.... But the those files are not infected, it's just my PC.

yes... virus is spreadable.. so your burned disc has a virus.. if any device connected to your pc which is affected by harmfull virus.. then it's possible the virus can be spread to ur entire storage device.. it involves pen drive/thumb drive, the cd which u write and your entire hard disk.. it is better to scan and delete the virus by installing.. free version of anti virus software.. For Avg antivirus go to free.grisoft.com/.. .for Avg Antivir Free antivirus - Avira AntiVir.. u can download anyone for the antivirus... download, install, scan and delete.. .
