it if I have a cat5e cable ...? Am I supposed to be able to telnet to it with just a straight through cable from my laptop to my switches e0/1 port? I have configured the old-timer switch with an enable secret password, ip address and default gateway already, but it is not connected to the internet, so that is why I think I'm having a problem. Thanks for the help.
