If my car sat for one month, and I'm about to go on a road trip, do I need to

change the oil? I got an oil change 4 months ago, but for one of the months, I was overseas.

I have only driven 2,000 miles since the last oil change, but I'm about to go on an 800 mile road trip.

Would getting an oil change be a waste of money, or a smart choice?

The car is a 1998 Subaru Legacy.
