heart's desire? Too many people plan a life for after retirement where they get to do all the things they have always dreamed of. Only to discover, that by the time retirement came, they didn't have the health to follow their dreams. It was all for naught.
I'll always remember going to the home of a man who died with my father. The man had dreamed his entire life of going fishing. He had retired and purchased a travel trailer and new truck to haul it with. He took it out one week-end for a shake down trip. Then he died the next week. It seemed like a terrible shame to me.
If you could, would you take early retirement and follow a dream? What would you do?
