I live directly across the street from ford Field. I will not attend a game until he is gone.

that's a start, but don't medicate the symptom.

who hired Millen? who allows him to stay despite the Lions abysmal performances?

the owner. once the Ford family sells the lions, then i'll be interested. unfortunately for them, i think that their little auto business will have to go thru some serious hard times (worse than now, which will make it even worse on the Michigan economy and thousands of Ford employees), before their greasy little hands let go of this franchise.

As much as that would be welcomed by a lot of the Detroit fans, the fact is that the only way to really get more people to go to more games over the long term is to win or at least have a player who people want to see.
Detroit enjoyed its greatest success in the 1950s, and that is not going to do anything to get people interested now. They had Barry Sanders for a while to create interest and then tried Martz as a coach to create some excitement.
Millen is a great president and CEO and has a lot to his credit:
•He landed his job with basically no related experience
•The team made it for 3 years with him before winning a road game
•He leads the NFL in obvious draft failures
•He has no idea what a wide receiver is or how many you need
•In a state with such a crappy economy and high unemployment rate, Matt Millen is the one guy that can't lose his job.

Id go to more games (If I lived near Detroit) if they would win more games.....period!!!
