they come up with anything? Could they point to history to demonstrate where similar actions or policies have proven successful ? Or on the contrary, would they need to hide the history of similar programs because they were a total disaster ? Thanks in advance for your answers. God bless.
 
Good Morning! Yes, I am afraid they would either hide or sugar coat the past history of these types of policies.

Remember FDR? His folly was only saved due to the second world war. He was a socialist who's New Deal hampered recovery from the contraction, prolonged and added to unemployment, and set the stage for ever more intrusive and costly government.

Obama's administration is again a tragedy brought upon ourselves by hubris. The depression of the 1930's would have been a brief disaster if it hadn't been for the national tragedy of the New Deal.

Obama is doing nothing but emulating the failures of the past.
