My friend is being very adamant in saying if kobe were to have played in the 80's he'd be a god.
So my friend responded...
"We had like 20 guys in the league who could average 25 + points a game ... See Moreand other than Jordan, big men dominated the game...The league was geared towards the big man.Why do you think SHAQ said he's the last true center around? Cause he is...Why do you think the CELTICS & LAKERS dominate the 80s cause there superstars weren't guards...you could make an arguement that MAGIC was a guard but he was like 6'9". You hold Kobe on too high a pedestal...His game is geared towards taking people off the dribble....I doubt he could get the same opportunities against JOE DUMARS...or even SCOTTIE PIPPEN....heck I think DREXLER would even shut him down....DOC RIVERS was a shutdown defender in his day as well...."
