if iran and greece fight,who would win the war?

I am Greek, but, alas, Iran would win in crushing fashion. Greece is now near 90% dependent on Iranian oil and other energy related sources, and suffers a $450 million trade deficit with Iran. Thus, from an economic angle, Iran would merely have to shut an already beleaguered Greece off to set up the coup de grace: the Greek military would be crippled without the oil and energy sources, making it an easy victim for the Iranians. Iran has had Greece securely in its hip pocket for awhile now, and would prevail in this conflict without breaking a sweat.
 
There are also the military statistics to consider. Iran has a military four and a half times the size of the Greek military in terms of personnel. Moreover, what was once the edge for Greece in this region, the navy and air force, have now both been surpassed by Iran as a result of years of intensive technological buildup, both internally and from outside sources, namely Russia. Even with the nuclear option excluded, Iranian missiles number three times what Greece has, and in terms of range capabilities, can extend for 3,000 more miles than the best of what the Greeks have, and also possess far greater fire power. Whatever interceptors Greece possesses have now been rendered obsolete by Iranian technology. Bottom line: Greece is absolutely no match for Iran, and would be at its mercy within a week.
 
Iran wins in a laugher, getting some good practice for its more serious opponents, Israel and the United States.
 
Poor Greece would not stand a chance, and I live here. Iran would shut off our oil supply, cripple our already damaged economy by calling in its debts, and move in for an easy kill. To use a quote applicable to a one sided fight: "Iran would overpower Greece, devour it, swallow it, and then poop it out!"
 
You must be kidding. Iran would revel in victory before Greece knew what hit it. In actuality, Greece would make the most tempting target for Iran: it suffers from a massive trade deficit with Iran, is near totally dependent on Iranian oil, and is the only one of the three Western allies in that part of the world (the other two being Israel and Turkey) that Iran could beat. Economically alone, Greece would buckle under Iran, but would also be the victim of a humiliating military defeat.
 
I guess the only question would be is whether Iran could take out Greece in one week or two.
 
A merciless slaughter in favor of the Iranians. Iran brilliantly lured Greece into an economic trap first by insuring a disproportional oil dependency, then by having Iranian businessmen come in to buy up over three quarters of all foreclosed properties in Greece, then by coercing Greece into an anti-Turkish military alliance to the point where Iranian frigates and aircraft carriers now dot Greek waters in the Aegean Sea. The Iranians would barely have to show up, it would be similar to reasserting authority into one of their provinces. No contest.
