If I'm on birth control and my partner gets tested, do I have to use a condom?

I am still in high school. How difficult would it be for my first partner to go get tested? He has been with 4 girls all in commited relationships. Now that I am on birth control I don't want to use condoms anymore, as its hard for him to get them. He may be annoyed if I make him get tested though. His mom has made him get tested before and he was clean. What should I do?
16 but you know its difficult and expensive
my mom doesn't trust condoms for some reason
i mean jusssst using condoms
how can i convince my mom that just using condoms is an effective form of birth control

If he truely loves you, then he shouldn't get mad. why don't you want to use condoms though? i would use them for a peace of mind. and if you really don't want to use them, then you should both go get tested even if you probably never had sex.

Yes, you should still use condoms. There's no age restriction on buying them, so I don't see why it's hard for him to get them. also, if you think he'd "be annoyed" with you asking him to get tested, then maybe you shouldn't have sex with him!
