If I'm buying a used car that's GM Certified do I need to get my own inspection?

From what I've heard it's very important to get a used car inspected before buying. However, if the car is GM certified do I need to go through the hassle of setting up my own private inspection or can I trust the GM Certification process to find major defects?

The GM inspection process is provided by the dealer selling the car most likely. getting a carfax report and a third party inspection is probably a good idea. If the dealer is putting his claims in writing and backing them with a warranty he provides this could be a good thing, but always be wary. A lot of these certifications are only a sales tool and don't really mean that much.

private inspectins r always a good idea-cause after u drive that thing off the lot it basically turns into a taillight guarentee- getting dealers to fix anything afterwards is going to a good trick-esp since there all about to go tits up
