if im an officer in the military living off base..... (several questions)?

1. does the government pay for my housing...food?
2. how much?
3. what is military life like if you live off base?
4. what time do you usually have to show up on base every day? what time do you get to go home?
5.can you attend the needed college coarses while enlisted ( not an officer ) living on base to become an officer?
6. as inlisted can i live off base imediatly after basic training and the government pays my rent?
