you shouldn't be looking at short-term gains, you need to make a plan that is sustainable for the rest of your life otherwise as soon as you stop its all going to go back on again, you need something that you will not get bored of and something that you can be willing to do for a long period of time, trying to see how much weight you can lose in a small period of time is a bad idea and you are just setting yourself up for a let-down.
