If I went out of state would I be able to get a good amount of financial aid still?

I want to go out of state somewhere not sure yet, anyways...
My parents are divorced but only one has custody and she has an income of 40-50,000
also i have a 3.5 gpa if that helps with anything..
Any information helps since I know nothing about going out of state:)
