If I wear a long sports jacket with black nylons and sneaker boots would it look skanky?

I have a coat my dad brought back from the common wealth games and it sits a few inches below where my but ends, like, where those short shorts girls where, around there, and I was wondering do you tihnk it woiuld look skanky if I wore nylons with and my above ankle suede flat boots which button up on the side or should I just wear stockings you cant see through OR something else in general. ty
