if i was to pre order the htc evo 4g, for sprint, when its available.....?

i want to get a htc evo 4g. i want to pre order, whenever thats available, but i was wondering if it would cost more to do that. or if it would be one of those you have to get a new line to pre order it. i want to just add a line, would that work?
