...job working for the police? Im just asking cause when i go in the marines flying the apache and then when i come home i want to get a job working for the police department. but is it a good chance that they will except me for the job since i already have the experience?
 
Being trained in such a complex airframe will make you an excellent candidate. But then again, you will be pretty bored with no rockets to fire. Yo could also get a job with a news station, civilian med-choppers, or at helicopter tours for civilians.
 
You will have a better chance of getting hired than other non-military helicopter pilots, but there just isn't that many helicopter pilot jobs available in the civilian world.
