if I use sunless tanner on my face am I going to need a new foundation shade?

I mean this probably sounds stupid and I'm assuming I will. I just don't know how dark it's going to make my face and I might not already have the color foundation somewhere to use. I start spring semester at jc tomorrow and thought it might be nice to have a tan but if I don't have any good foundation it's not gonna look right cus I have really bad acne.

I'm using this sunless tan with bronzer from true blue spa if that makes a difference
I was hoping for more detailed information
