If I turn off my cell phone, and instead forward my calls to a landline, will

those calls still go through? Simply turned off my phone, I still have service, but was wondering if I'd programmed my calls to be forwarded to another number would those calls still go through? And no, when I turn my phone back on, my missed calls are not displayed.
