If I take l4 2.5L out of a 95 Jeep Wangler and replace it with 4.0L will I need

to change the transmission? A strait 4 2.5L is to small I want to replace it w/ a strait 4 4.0L , strait 6, or V6. What I want to know is will I need to change the 3spd auto transmission also?
