If I suspended my verizon phone, will I receive my texts?

I lost my phone over two weeks ago and my parents suspended the phone until someone found it. Someone found it and because of a huge storm where I live, he has not been able to return it. Since my parents suspended it, and when my friends text the phone the texts do not bounce back, will I receive all of those messages?
