and win my case, can I be sure that I will receive the money that I am due?
I had 2 Velux windows fitted and they have been done so badly that there are several leaks all round and the roof has been damaged in the process of fitting these. I have had a surveyor round and he has given me a report and a specification for the work to be redone and made good. If the original workman does not do that then I will get quotes from other builders and have the work done and take the matter to a small claims court to recover the money paid to have this work re-done. Assuming I win my case (according to the surveyor there is no contest, the work is atrocious), will I definitely get my money back from the original builder?
