If I set to rec. from my Sky HD box to a Panasonic HDD DVD recorder will the quality be in HD or standard def?

I'm thinking of buying the Panasonic DMR-EX83EB-K250 HDD DVD recorder. If I connect it to my Sky HD box will the image quality be in HD or standard definition? I plan to hook the two up via a HDMI cable.
