My phone is no longer under warranty, and my phone is having software problems. The people at the Mac Store told me for $199 they will replace my phone.. Will they send back a iPhone 3G 16GB (my current phone) or since they don't make 3G's anymore, will they send me an iPhone 3GS 16GB? If they are sending me the 3G, is there any way I can get them to send me a 3GS?
I will not be getting the iPhone 4. The iPhone 4 is only $200 through a two year contract with AT&T. My contract isn't up yet, and Apple's standard repair cost is $199 no matter the repair. The lady at the Apple store said they don't do repairs on iPhones, although others have said they do. So I don't know what to believe.
