It depends where you live. One airsoft law regarding to orange tips is that an airsoft gun has to be SOLD with an orange tip, and depending what state you live in it could be against the law, although most states do not have airsoft laws so in most cases you can put a black flash hider on.
HOWEVER, I do not recommend doing this because this orange tip is the only thing telling police the difference between an airsoft gun and a real firearm, so please do this at your own risk.
Oh, and make sure you have permission before going on people's private property. I know this is common sense but so many people get in trouble for this.
