if i pull my Jeep Grand Cherokee after my motorhome, will i put miles on the jeep?

2001 grand cherokee... I know older vehicles register the miles but I'm not sure if the newer ones with digital dash do, because the car is off and transfer case is in neutral... anyone know?
 
Yes it will if the spedo sensor is aft of the transfer case. If it is directly attached to the trans and you shift 4X4 into neutral then no it will not. I just cannot remember how that one is set up.
